A unique moment that I will never forget was when I was taking care of a child and her mother became pregnant again. I had the opportunity to witness the birth of the new baby at home — it was a unique experience for me. After that, I continued caring for the newborn. The family placed a great deal of trust in me, and our bond grew even stronger because I was part of such an important moment in their lives.

Some of my favorite hobbies to share with kids include drawing and coloring, which allow us to express imagination together, and making fun bracelets that help build fine motor skills. I also love reading storybooks aloud, creating special moments that encourage a love for reading. In addition, I enjoy playing video games and participating in sports, especially basketball, as I was a basketball player myself. These activities not only keep kids active and entertained but also help build confidence, teamwork, and strong connections.

One of my most unforgettable moments as a nanny was filled with both sadness and joy. I had been caring for a sweet 3-year-old, and over time, we developed such a strong bond. When it came time for me to move to another state, she begged me not to go. Her little voice asking me to stay broke my heart and made me realize just how much love we had shared. I got so emotional in that moment—it was bittersweet, but also incredibly heartwarming. It reminded me how impactful and meaningful caregiving can truly be.
