One of my favorite moments is captured in my profile picture. I was holding an infant in a front carrier and her older sister wanted to "have her own baby too". We carefully placed her babydoll in her own carrier and she proudly brought her all around.
Another one of my favorite moments was the first time a child in my care stood independently. She'd been in my care from 4 months onward; watching her develop from tummy time to sitting up independently, to crawling and finally standing was one of the most rewarding slow burns of my life.
