Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything outdoors. I think it's good to get children away from screens. I would take them on a walk on sunny days and maybe go to the park. If the children don't want to walk, then I can find things we can do in the yard. (Chalk, water balloons, ect.)
On a rainy day we can do art or watch a movie that teaches about things they do not see often.

Letting the families relax knowing their loved ones are taken care of by a trustworthy person.
I care about doing things the right way and trying to keep emotions out of it. I have taken childhood development classes and I have taken many assessments to care for any person.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children who are non-verbal autistic, have cerebral palsy, are wheelchair-bound, and deal with behavioral issues.
I have helped with bathing, urinary, and bowel procedures. I have also helped with companionship. I like to talk to them like a normal child and see what makes them light up. As long as I stay happy, calm, and reasonable, there is no situation I can't handle.

I also like going out of my way for the families I help. There is not an employer out there who will say that I don't work hard. I am known as the hard worker who goes above and beyond.

I am going to be a big part of the family when it comes to the children and the parents. It's nice to have help, but do not let it go unappreciated.
