I have several years of experience caring for children between the ages of 1 and 7, providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for each child’s unique needs. In addition to my childcare experience, I’ve also worked in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a behavioral interventionist, where I supported children in building positive behaviors, developing communication skills, and reaching individualized goals.

I’m someone who truly enjoys spending quality time with children and creating a fun, engaging environment for them to grow in. Whether it’s imaginative pretend play, board games, or even age-appropriate video games, I love finding activities that keep kids entertained while helping build confidence and social skills. I also enjoy coming up with creative crafts and hands-on activities that children love, while encouraging creativity and supporting the development of fine motor skills in a fun and natural way.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where children feel understood, encouraged, and genuinely cared for, while also building a strong and trusting relationship with parents. I believe open communication, reliability, and teamwork with families are essential in providing the best care possible. Whether I’m helping children learn new skills, supporting their emotional growth, or simply making their day more fun and enjoyable, I always strive to be someone both children and parents can feel comfortable, confident, and supported by.

My experience with special needs children...

I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum through ABA therapy, which has helped me develop strong patience, understanding, and communication skills. I’m familiar with how to approach different situations calmly and supportively, including helping de-escalate aggressive behaviors in a safe and respectful way. My experience has taught me how important it is to recognize each child’s individual needs and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I always maintain very strict confidentiality when it comes to the children and families I work with, so I like to keep specific moments private and respectful. That being said, some of my favorite nanny moments are the unexpected and hilarious things kids say that completely catch you off guard and leave you laughing for the rest of the day. Those genuine, funny little moments are part of what makes working with children so rewarding and memorable.
