A little bit about me

Hi My name is Michele and I have been a teacher for almost 30 years. I began working in the childcare field at a hospital daycare. From there I moved on to a teaching position at a school that integrated special needs children with typically developing children and I currently work for a public school district as a preschool teacher. I have worked with children from 18 months up to the age of 6 years. I have a little experience with infants, but prefer to be with toddlers on upward. I currently hold teacher certification as a teacher of the handicapped and preschool to 3rd grade. I am first aid and CPR certified. I am primarily looking for a summer job starting on June 29th, after the school year ends. I am opened to continue on as a nanny throughout the school year, if you have availability after 4:30pm.
Ever since I was a child, I've never wanted to work in any field other than teaching children. I enjoy viewing the world through their eyes and helping them learn new things.
