My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my career of childcare, I’ve worked with many kids, and have gotten to observe and really learn the uniqueness that make up each child. I can’t say whether or not any of them were specifically special needs, but I can tell you confidently that I have quite the strong emotional intellect, as well as my ability to really tap into the emotions of others when they cant quite verbally communicate it themselves. With all that being said, I believe I would be a great service to a mother with a child with special needs :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be teaching the children I was nannying how to make homemade lemonade. We had a whole lemon themed week to prepare. So much fun.
