I recognize how vulnerable and intimate it must feel inviting someone into this position in your family's life and home, so I'd love to share a bit about myself to see if we're an aligned match!

I have 16 years of hands-on experience working with children ages 12 mos-18+ as a nanny, arts educator, elementary classroom aid, imaginative play supervisor, tutor, choreographer, and preschool observer during my Child Development Psychology training.

Outside of childcare work, I'm a passionate Functional Systems Architect, Researcher, Curriculum Developer and Creative Artist, who focuses primarily on ethical, trauma-informed curriculum and human-centered IP design.

My ongoing current projects are child-specific—focused on nervous system regulation, co-regulation strategy, emotional literacy, boundary setting, integrative functional nutrition, and applied curriculum using original children's books, music, games, and immersive narrative storytelling!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I've been with my current nanny family for 3.5 years, so I have endless favorite stories about each of the kids, starting when they were little. But the most fulfilling, special timeframe for me was when the youngest was transitioning from early toddlerhood into preschool readiness. She's taught me a lot.

I take a collaborative, child-led approach to exploring curiosity, and one day when she just showed this palpable embodied desire to experiment, learn and grow.

The next year and a half, our daily routine became collaborative playful exploration of her observations, theories, and curiosity— structured to empower self-confidence and expression, emotional literacy, and co-regulated communication skills. (While playfully practicing skill building, of course haha.) She flourished!

She was so confident & excited starting preschool last year. And now at 5, she's one of the funniest, most grounded, empathetic, and aware people I know. She's so cool, haha.

I love all of them immensely!
