Hello, I’m Dasia I earned my degree in Fashion Marketing Management from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and I’ve had a lifelong passion for both creativity and working with children. I have over 10 years of childcare experience.

I have extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers, including several years working within a childcare center supporting children across a wide range of developmental stages. I’ve worked closely with children focusing on individualized developmental goals, including those who may be on the spectrum or experiencing developmental delays.

In addition to my daytime care experience, I have provided overnight nanny support for newborns and infants during those critical early months. I am experienced in establishing healthy sleep foundations and implementing various sleep training methods tailored to each family’s comfort level and parenting philosophy.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat for children for over 6-8 years beginning in my teen years. I currently still continue to babysit for toddlers ranging from 1-3, while working full time at a daycare Monday through Friday as a Lead Teacher for 18-36 month toddlers with occasionally helping with infants as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing various art crafts with children allowing for them to express themselves to the fullest, even if it involves being messy. I also like to do activities that allow the children to lead while learning along the way so the child feels they are in control. As for outdoor activities I like to engage children with sensory play, sports, and small games that get their large muscles moving to ensure their physical development is being engaged.

An important aspect of nannying is the nurturing and development of the children one cares for they are much of an impact on the children just as much as the parents are.

My favorite moment I have had with children is consistently reminding children my name and what I should be called and being called completely different names such as "TT" and "Aunty" that have stuck to the point that I now allow it because how funny and cute it is.
