I’m a nanny because I want to work with children when I finish college, and i feel this would be a great experience for me. I have always wanted to be a nanny but I have always gone abroad each summer. This summer, I am fully available and have a good schedule for the school year in Fall. I have a passion for children and want to be a good role model and mentor for them :)

My past childcare experience In May 2011, I worked with children from ages 6 months to 7 years old at an orphanage in South Africa. I worked as a Cougar Pal where I mentored a middle school student and met with her once a week to help her with her homework and talk about her life. Also in that year, I worked at a middle school where I tutored middle school students at a program called Think Together. For a social work class, I was a leader of a group of third graders where we would talk about bullying. I have nannied/babysat in South Korea and have also taught English in Korea in the Summer of 2010. I have been a camp counselor at Camp Dunamis for middle school students and a counselor for elementary students at Camp Ojai.
