I’m a nanny because I have 5 kids of my own that keep me very busy. I have tried many avenues of retail jobs but nothing has seemed to appease me. What brings me pleasure and joy is being able to spend time with my boys or just kids in general. Unfortunately staying at home does not pay my bills so why not get into a carreer where I am doing something I love and can get compensated for it.

My past childcare experience I have been baby sitting most of my life. My mom was a liscenced childcare giver until she passed away. I had very high involvement with that. I recently just finished being a nanny for an old co worker of mine. I cared for her child from the age of 2 to 4. My schedule was Monday through Friday from 730 to 4. I prepared meals and provided entertainment for the child as the day went on. As she got a little older I took her to and from a nursery class that last 2 hours per day. After she was home we worked on arts and crafts and went over things she had learned at her school program. We formed a very close connection.
