More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In my homecountry where I volunteered to work with kids age 2-4 year, then 9-10 year-old children for about 3 months. About a year of experience here and able to providing references.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging in communication with children because communicate with children helps develop their speech and contributes to their growth. I love going for walks with kids as well as spending time at nearby libraries, participating in their activities. Enjoy engaging in play times, which highly contributes to the kids' cognitive development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It's creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children we care for. Ensure that children we care for feel good around us, while also setting boundaries to control and correct their behaviors.
My experience with special needs children...
I had to care for a child with special needs before. He has a speech delay and working with him required lots of patience. Working with him has helped me grow in patience and get a better understanding of what it means to work with special needs children. While the needs may vary, I remain confident that I am equipped to working with children with special needs as the fundamentals needed are patience and the ability to create a loving environment to build the child's confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when the baby girl I cared for cried when I was leaving. I took pride in this because it may me realize how much I meant to her. That shows she likes the environment I have created for her.
