A little bit about me

Hello!

My name is Rose, I'm 26, and I live in the Ballard area. I have 12 years of childcare experience (6m-11y), including nanny shares, full-time care, overnights, and travel nannying. I have maintained contact with many of my previous childcare families with whom I share a deep trust and care.

For the past 2 school years, I have worked for Seattle Public Schools as a K-5 SpEd IA supporting kids with a variety of neurodiversities and behavioral needs. I have extensive practice teaching kids how to communicate and manage their emotions, and I am very familiar with both early childhood (Pre-K) and elementary school curricula and childhood development milestones. I took 4 years of ASL and know basic Spanish.

I prioritize creativity, imagination, time outdoors, and developmentally appropriate activities over screen time and value open communication with parents regarding expectations, needs, concerns, etc.
