"I've know Sarah for almost 10 years and she has always been great with kids. Sarah can easily engage with both young children and their adults easily. She has worked at HarborSquare Athletic Club for years as their Kids Club manager and effortlessly maintains communication with me when we have our kids play together who need pickups and in other tricky parenting situations we have both encountered with our children.
I have trusted Sarah with my kids for overnights and in a scary situation where I needed to quickly take my other child to the hospital and anytime I ask she's been able to step in at a moments notice.
In short, Sarah is absolutely someone I would hire if I needed care for my kids!"

"Sarah was an incredibly patient, flexible, and supportive caregiver to work with. She provided thoughtful recommendations and practical solutions for my child, who initially struggled with weaning and transitioning to a bottle. Drawing from her extensive experience with children, she helped our family navigate the transition into full-time daycare with much greater ease and confidence.
Throughout our time working together, Sarah was always respectful of my parenting preferences and consistently offered reassurance about my son’s well-being and daily progress. I especially admired the care and attention she gave to enriching his experiences, including taking him on excursions and encouraging him to explore the world around him in a safe and engaging way. I would highly recommend Sarah to any family looking for a compassionate, experienced, and dependable caregiver."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages through private nannying, childcare leadership, as a postpartum doula, and raising my own two children whom we homeschooled. I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where kids feel supported, encouraged, and able to grow.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Over the years of nannying and. homeschooling my own two, I learned that I really enjoy staying active with kids—being outside, playing games, going on walks, and doing fun group activities. I like getting creative too with arts and crafts, reading together, or simple hands-on science projects and baking can always be one of those projects with hopefully a tasty outcome. I also love mixing in little field trips to explore neighborhoods, parks, and local spots. And when it’s time to slow down, I’m just as happy doing pretend play, puzzles, or quieter activities to help kids reset and relax.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is providing consistent, reliable care that helps children feel safe, supported, and understood.
Everything else builds from that—being patient, showing up with a calm and steady presence, and really paying attention to each child’s needs, personality, and routines. It’s also about building trust with both the children and the parents, so everyone feels confident that the child is in good hands.
At its core, it’s less about “doing activities” and more about creating a stable, caring relationship where kids can grow, feel secure, and just be themselves.

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had experience supporting individuals with a range of needs in both childcare and care-focused settings. In childcare, I’ve worked in a drop-off program supporting children with developmental delays and autism in a structured, short-term environment, focusing on creating a safe, patient, and supportive space.
Outside of childcare, I also worked as an in-home care provider for elderly clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s, which strengthened my skills in patience, clear communication, routine-building, and providing calm, consistent care for individuals with cognitive and developmental challenges.

The most important part about being a nanny...
When a child finally feels comfortable and secure enough to trust me, opens up, or proudly shows me something they’ve learned. I especially love seeing kids grow in confidence over time, whether it’s mastering a new skill, finding their independence, or just feeling safe and happy in their routine.
Not just one moment but a collection of many over the years, the of the most special memories are those of watching my charge and my son become best friends over the 3 years that we were together. They are only a week apart so it was like having twins and their bond is a very special one even 15 years later.
