I am an outgoing, learning new mother with a love for nurturing and teaching children! I have officially nannied for one family long-term & cared for many children for many years via babysitting, teaching, short-term nannying (a few weeks or less), and in childcare facilities. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While attending school to earn my BS degree in Early Childhood Development I managed and taught three preschool classes consisting of children ages 3-5 years old! I have also been a lead preschool teacher for a corporate company, and lead teacher for children extensively from infants to age 14. My most recent experience is working with infants 6 weeks-18 months old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Learning, teaching, playing outside, playing games, cooking together, cleaning together (teaching simple tasks), going swimming, reading books, singing/dancing. Children’s “work” is PLAY, which they naturally do so well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being what the family and children need! A nanny is a blessing and a service. Being intentional and loving and developing lasting relationships and friendships with them!

I have worked with children with varying levels of Autism, speech delays, behavioral struggles, special sensory needs, diagnosed ADHD, and more.

The most special part of working with children is the love and bond that can be had. It is not an easy job but it is so, so rewarding! When you really connect with a child and build a healthy, loving relationship with them, the friendship and happiness you are share with them is priceless!
