I volunteered for after school programs for elementary age children as well as volunteered as a teachers aid for preschool and kindergarten.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities include arts and crafts, board games, age appropriate free play (such as playing with blocks, cars etc) and reading time. Outdoor activities depend on the weather but will be mostly free play (digging, basketball, soccer, etc) . I have several ride on cars etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is making sure the children are safe, safety will always be priority. I also believe the children need to feel comfortable and accept the person caring for them, it has to be mutual for both the kids and nanny.

I have mostly cared for children with autism and children with physical disabilities. Please reach out with any questions regarding special needs. I have experience working alongside physical therapist during appointments for children in the past.
