"Fantastic personality
Knows how to work with kids and help them grow and believe in themselves
Develops relationships with all members of the family
She is kind and caring
Always very supportive in anything Megan was/is doing and or wanted/wants to try
Believes fully in her and what she can accomplish
Megan feels like her little sister, they are so close still today
She is one of the kindest, sweetest people and we are pleased to still have a great relationship with her
She surprised her for her birthday while she was still in school full time and playing basketball by coming to her party and playing games with all her friends, gave her a monkey that she still sleeps with.
She has gone on family vacations with us and they have spent hours playing on beaches or just hanging out talking.
She makes it a point of texting her just to say HI"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for a family with one little girl for about 5 years on and off. (Reference available upon request) Before that, I babysat when I had free time in high school. Throughout college and after, I mentored a lot of children- spending a lot of time coaching, watching after them at camps, and sometimes being asked to come babysit or mentor privately.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading, baking, cooking, doing art, and playing pretend. I have a lot of fun teaching kids how to cook and bake. I also love being outside. I want to have my own garden when I settle down. I love all animals, even most bugs, so playing with kids outside is the best! I am also a yoga and meditation teacher, and took some classes in kids yoga so this is something else I would love to contribute in some way if desired.
The most important part about being a nanny...
That my kids feel loved and safe under my care. I want to show them all the magic and kindness in this world while still being an example of a disciplined and hard working human. I hope to always be someone they will remember and look up to.
My experience with special needs children...
I used to work with the high school program to help kids with Autism learn in classrooms. Overall, this is not something I have extensive experience in, however my degree in Neuroscience and Psychology has helped me learn a lot about things like Autism, ADHD, ADD and like challenges. I am also very open to learn and gain further knowledge if necessary.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I started to spend more and more time with Megan, the little girl I nannied, she told me she always wanted a sister and now she felt like she had one. Moments like these will never leave my heart. I just hope to bring a sense of love and safety to every kid I have the honor of meeting.
That same little girl grew into a too-cool 13 year old and gets embarrassed if I show up uninvited to surprise her in front of her friends. I guess I really am a big sis.
