A little bit about me

Hey, I'm Tori and I'm looking for a summer job and I'm just starting a little early. I think it's important that you know that I will only be able to work nights and weekends until summer, which for me starts June 5th. I am a teen with no professional experience, but I babysit my brother(he's a handful) and cousins all the time. I love volleyball, art, reading, movies, music, and hands on work/learning. I'm very open minded and and versatile. Also I'm not certified in CPR and first-aid, but I do know how to do CPR and use a first-aid kit. I learn all those things and more at the health professional school I attend for students my age. I'm not too sure on what to say, but if you have any questions I'm open to answer so please ask away!!

I've done volunteer work at an church in the child daycare, but most of the time I watch my brother currently age 3, and my niece who's currently 6 months.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love volleyball so much so will definitely be down to teach or play volleyball with your child if possible. I do a wide variety art and I've participated in multiple competitions. I enjoy dancing and signing with my little brother so I'm down to do that. I love science and I'm currently participating in SEFH, so I'm down to do little fun science activities or even just talk about it. The list goes on, but I'm open to do anything appropriate and allowed that the child requests!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say the most important thing about being a nanny is the connection you're able to build with a child. I think it's harder to gain children's trust and validation than adults, so when you're able to build a connection with a child it's special. Also who doesn't love when a child likes them back??
