I’m a mom of two, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with kids—everything from newborn care to school runs and bedtime routines. On top of that, I’ve been caring for another family’s children for the past five years. I’ve helped with meals, activities, playtime, and just being a reliable, supportive presence in their daily lives.

I really enjoy doing a mix of creative and active activities with kids, depending on their age and interests. I love doing crafts, reading stories, and playing pretend—it’s fun and helps build their imagination. I also like getting them outside for walks, playground time, or simple games in the yard.

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is having patience. Every child is different, and they grow, learn, and express themselves in their own way and time.

One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little girl I cared for made me a handmade ‘thank you’ card out of construction paper and stickers. She told me I was her ‘favorite grown-up friend’ and gave me the biggest hug. It was such a simple gesture, but it meant the world to me. It reminded me how much kids notice and appreciate the love and attention you give them—it’s those little moments of connection that make this job so special.
