Tampa$15/hr | 2 kidsWe are a family of four looking for a caring and experienced nanny to help us manage our busy lives. My wife and I are both nurses, working 12-hour shifts at the hospital, which means our schedule is a bit unconventional. We have two wonderful boys: Cooper, our oldest, is independent and helpful, and Robby, our infant, who requires the majority of attention. We also have two friendly dogs, Riley and Nash, who are well-trained and mostly cared for by Cooper.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with infants and school-aged children: Our boys are at different stages, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable caring for an active school-aged child as well as a newborn.
Flexibility with schedule: Our work schedules vary, so we need someone who can be available for 3 days a week, which may not always fall on the same days each week. We're hoping to align our shifts so that we can maximize our family time.
Willingness to stay overnight: With our shifts often lasting 12 hours, we need someone who is comfortable staying in our home when needed. We have a guest room available free of charge.
Pet-friendly: Our dogs are an important part of our family, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys being around pets.
Responsibilities:
Caring for Robby (3 months old): This will include feeding, changing, and engaging with him in age-appropriate activities.
Supervising Cooper (school-aged): Cooper is in school Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, but will need supervision and assistance with homework after school.
Light household duties: Including basic tidying up after the children and helping with their laundry.
Pet care: Ensuring Riley and Nash are fed and taken outside as needed, though Cooper takes care of most of their needs.
Location: South Tampa
