My experience with each child is always fascinating, I love learning and teaching while playing, I really like doing activities with them (dance, art, music, etc.) We learn and have a lot of fun! I really like to help, I consider myself very honest, responsible, disciplined, energetic, and creative.
I hope we can work together.

I was a birth doula for many years/ then transitioned to postpartum doula care. I am also a child sleep expert and lactation educator.
After having my daughter, 10 years ago, I decided to go back to nannying. The family I was working with for the past 3 years just let me know that they can’t keep me starting beginning of August.

A little bit about me
Most recently, I worked as a full-time nanny for a non-verbal autistic child in Oakland. My responsibilities included assisting with hygiene, feeding, and field trips, as well as designing customized developmental activities and tracking progress using data charts.
Earlier roles as a peer mentor and teaching assistant also strengthened my ability to connect with young people and build trusting relationships through care and consistency.
I take great pride in creating safe, loving, and engaging environments for children to grow. I aim to be someone children feel safe with and parents can rely on.
I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your family’s needs and how I can help support them.
Warmly,
Kevineh ‘kJoiee’ Emman Freeman
