A little bit about me

Hello! I'm Moriah! I'm originally from San Francisco but I moved to Boston in 2022 to complete a doctorate in occupational therapy. I'm in the final month of my program now and will be moving back to San Francisco in August. I've worked with kids of all ages in a variety of settings. As part of my program, I completed a 3 month pediatric placement doing early intervention (ages 0-3). While in Boston I worked as a literacy tutor for youth involved in the foster system. Prior to entering my OT program, I worked as a crisis stabilization counselor for youth and families in the Bay Area. Additionally, I've babysat for years for kids of all ages. In my free time, I love to cook, read, run, crochet, and do anything that lets me spend time outdoors!
When I move back, I will be studying for my licensing exam and I'm hoping to do some part-time childcare as well. I will be available to work through the end of November, and possibly through the end of 2025.

A little bit about me

Throughout my teenage years into young adulthood, I have sought opportunities to gain valuable experience supporting children, particularly under the age of five. Whether it was nannying full-time during my summers in college, being an au pair and tutor in Spain for a three-year-old boy, or babysitting casually on top of my full-time job for a children’s educational non-profit called Room to Read in San Francisco, I truly love spending time with kids and helping them to learn, grow, and be happy.

I’m hopeful to find a warm, welcoming family to support in all daily requirements as well as engaging with educational development because I truly value early learning development (and have learned a great deal already from my mom who is a preschool teacher). As a kind-hearted, compassionate, and responsible caregiver, I will bring my best to your family in order to cultivate a health, happy environment for everyone.

A little bit about me

I’m a positive, energetic, loving person, and I’ve worked with children all my adult life; I love being a nanny and I’m currently looking for my next family after a wonderful job of almost 6 years that naturally is coming to an end with their youngest starting school full time in the fall.

I’m bilingual (Spanish and English), have a BA in communications and a diploma in digital marketing, as well as a certificate in event planning. I’m highly organized and detail oriented, schedule management is a strength of mine and I’m an experienced and safe driver.
