A little bit about me
I currently Nanny 60 hrs/wk, for two separate families. I have been with them for a 4 yrs & 3 yrs. There are 6 boys (10, 8, 8, 6, 5, and 2) and a 2 year old girl. I dont allow screen time when Im with the kids. There are too many adventures to be had which is why we call ourselves the Adventure Crew. We explore the world around us, learn something new everyday, use creativity and Imagination, & enjoy our active, screen-free lifestyle(with exceptions for sick days & movie theater treats). My favorite activities include hiking, biking, city parks, swimming, camping, soooo many crafts, construction projects, geocaching, going to the library, museums, fishing, bowling, trampoline park, tumbling on my gymnastics mats, & making “American Ninja Warrior” obstacle courses.
In addition to my normal nanny hours, I lend a hand a few night shifts each month working as a PCA / CNA for a teenage boy with Batten Disease.
I also qualify as a medical & developmental special needs nanny. I currently hold my Certified Nurses Aid Certification, med administration, CPR & First Aid for Health Care Professionals, Infant & Adult CPR & First Aid, & USAG Sport First Aid Certifications. I have been trained in diabetic glucose testing & insulin administration, tracheotomy suctioning, IG tube feeding, colostomy care, oxygen administration/monitoring, infant/adult heart monitors, & sterile wound care. I have experience with the autistic/Asperger's Spectrum, premature infants on oxygen & heart monitors, anaphylactic food allergies, & hospice.
I have a 2015 Ford escape with 2 booster seats providing safe & reliable transportation. I’ve never been fired & have a clean background check. I am open to the possibility of a live-in position.
