A little bit about me

I live in Normal I am a grandma of two and a stepmom of six. I love children! I always hoped and dreamed of having a big family. It did not happen to me in the natural way. I did not become the parent in the natural way either I met my partner about 10 years ago with him came six bonus children, two of them special needs with autism one of them nonverbal fast-forward about 10 years , two of his children still live with us one of his sons with autism and one of his other sons both of them adults in their upper 20s and we have custody of our granddaughter who turns 12 next month. My grandson was born about seven years ago and was living with us full-time for his first nine months of life and I decided to give home daycare a try. I did it for the first five years of his life. I was a licensed daycare until the end of 2023 the last two years I have worked in special education as a paraprofessional for Unit 5. I would love to find a family to work with full-time.
