I’m sensitive to the needs of children. I have skills and interests that could be used in a number of ways with childcare. I enjoy cooking well-balanced, delicious meals, reading and artistic activities, and spending time outdoors.
I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, and have been teaching third grade for the past few years. I am currently enrolled in an English graduate program at Boston College.

A little bit about me
I am a West Coast girl who recently moved to Boston and am started my Masters program in the coming months. I am looking to find a loving family to join and support in childcare and additional household areas (if needed) full-time throughout the week days. There are four separate families that I have had the privilege of nannying, kids age ranging from 8 months - 10 y/o (can provide references if asked!). I look forward to connecting!

A little bit about me
In high school I worked at a home daycare for three years caring for children ages 5 weeks old to 3 years old. At the daycare we played a lot with the children but also mixed that up with developmental/ educational activities.
I left the daycare when I graduated and went off to college, but I took what I learned from that experience and it has been my guide for working with children.
In college I continued to nanny for several families working with newborns as a mothers helper or overnight as a night nanny and also worked with older children helping with school drop-off and pick-ups, dinner prep and bedtime.
After graduating from college I worked as a reporter at a local newspaper for several years. Afterwards, I went on to work as a pharmacy technician at Boston Children's hospital. After a few years there, I returned to childcare as I truly missed working with children
