A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kendall and I am from Pickerington, Ohio, but I currently live in Worthington. I have 2.5 years of experience in childcare, mostly working with school-age kiddos, but I have experience with all ages, since I have worked in childcare centers since I graduated high school in 2022.

I have attended Capital University for two years, studying social work, but I am planning on starting dental assisting school in January to hopefully work in a pediatric dental office!

During my free time I enjoy baking, watching football, hiking, and spending time with my family and animals! (One Great Dane and two cats)

I love creating new experiences and memories for kids and watching them grow!

A little bit about me

Hi! I go by Kat and I am 25 years old. I love gentle parenting. Here are some of my beliefs about childcare:
ON DISCIPLINE:
I believe we sould discuss and explain behavioral issues with children. How will they learn unless we teach them? Additionally consequences should relate to the behavior. For example, taking responsibility and cleaning up a mess that the child made.
ON SPANKING:
Simply put, why should I ever teach a child that its okay for anyone to hit them? Even if they are being agressive towards me or another child, why would I teach them not to hit by hitting?
ON BODY AUTONOMY:
Children are in charge of their own bodies. I will never force or guilt a child into sitting on my lap, giving me a hug, or even a high five. This includes going as far as not frowning and saying, "aww," when a child does not want a hug. I smile, say, "thats okay!" and move on.

A little bit about me

I’m an experienced nanny with 15+ years of paid childcare experience, including 4+ years working with children with special needs. I hold a bachelor’s degree, am CPR/First Aid certified, and can provide excellent references. I’m dependable, nurturing, and passionate about supporting children’s growth.

I have a very laid back personality that allows parents and children to feel easily comfortable with me. Although laid back, I am always reliable, timely and pay close attention to every child’s schedule. I have experience with children 3 weeks old to 16!
