A little bit about me
I always joke that my love for children began when I was still a child myself, when I begged and begged my parents for a sibling at the age of five! But, I really began working with children in high school, when I volunteered in a local preschool classroom everyday. I also worked as a summertime nanny for three boys three summers in a row. I was a nanny for an infant baby girl from the age of 1 month old to 6 months old. Most recently was my position as a full time nanny for a private family with two little girls. It was the most rewarding position I have ever had and ultimately led me to the decision that I need to make being a nanny my career. I just love it!
As both of those little ones are now in school full time, I am in search of a new full time position with a family I can bond with and work with for years to come.
Here are a few more bits of fun about me!
I am all about arts and crafts. My first ever job as a young teenager was at Michael's Arts & Craft store! I am constantly crafting and browsing for new, fun, educational and creative activities for the kids.
I also love to bring learning outdoors. Parks, zoos, scavenger hunts, walks, and new adventures of all sorts are some of my favorite things.
I am child and Infant Fist Aid/CPR certified, a strong swimmer and safe driver.
I am available Mon-Fri until 5pm.
