A little bit about me…

I am a stay at home mom of a 3 year old little boy. I currently watch 2 other toddlers part time and have room for a few more children in my home Monday through Friday between 630am to 5pm. I have 17+ experience in childcare from babysitting all the way to having a Bachelor's in Education. I love teaching kids but when we found out we were pregnant we wanted me to stay home to raise our son. I know this is not feasible for everyone. So, I am offering my expertise and services to others in the area. I believe in letting the kids play and explore as a majority of their learning. They learn so much about their world that way. We also do crafts for fine motor skills and do a little academics in the morning during our calendar time, otherwise, we play, a lot. I cannot wait to meet you and love on your kids.

"Lindsay is considerate, reliable, and flexible. I have no complaints at all about the care she has given my kids. She is able to respond well to my two kids’ very different personalities. My almost four year old son has learned new words, letters, and numbers and is excited about their educational routines."

A little bit about me…

My child care experience stretches over a span of 30 years which includes: Babysitting, raising three amazing children, a daughter now age 33 & twin boys, age 23, a Para-Professional for grades 1-12, Pre-K Teaching including Curriculum Development, a Site Director for a Before & After School Program, an Art Instructor, volunteer for The Boys & Girls Club, the Dunga Orphanage Project, The Peaceful Valley Comm Ctr & public schools.
I believe in the fundamental importance needed for all humans: unconditional love & outstanding physical & emotional safety.
I also believe in the importance of independence, which I believe is done through creating opportunities where one learns to be capable, accountable & responsible.
I believe in the “model what you expect” concept, which will provide them the most important example of how to reach their goals.

A little bit about me…

I believe that caring for a child is one of the greatest honors. It's a role that fills me with happiness and provides a genuine wonder for the world. I approach childcare with a philosophy of mutual learning, knowing that children are not just students, but also incredible teachers.

I have a background in both group and individual care. I've worked in a gym daycare, caring for a range of children, from infants as young as 6 months to pre-teens. My most recent experience has been as a live-in nanny for a wonderful baby, where I lived in a separate unit connected to the main house by a breezeway. This one-on-one experience has been a true delight and has deepened my skills in infant care.

Beyond my passion for childcare, I am a dedicated professional who owns and operates a health and wellness business and a non-profit. I am deeply committed to helping others on their personal journeys. I look forward to connecting with a family who values a dedicated and well-rounded caregiver.

A little bit about me…

My name is Mia, I am 22 years old. I absolutely love arts and crafts and am incredibly patient and loving with small children. I have a two-year old parrotlet named Cleo, a fish named Louie, and three baby snails. Most of my childcare experience comes from my three younger sisters (currently aged 6, 8, and 10) whom I watched all throughout middle school & high school while my mom worked part-time, and my dad worked full-time. I'm currently working Mon-Thurs, but would love to fill my Fridays. Can't wait to hear from you!
