A little bit about me

I started out babysitting a toddler boy, being raised by a single mom, that was about 2.5 years old when I started babysitting him. He was about 3.5 years old when I stopped. He was most likely developmentally delayed as he was never very verbal with his speech though he had a strong set of lungs during his frequent tantrums. He was also not showing signs of being ready for potty training so pull-up changes were common. I would often pick up wipes and pull-ups for him on my trips down to Anaheim to babysit. I also provided care on days where he sick. Since then I've gone on to care for infants between 5-months old up to 11-months old. Providing all ranges of care including changing diapers, feeding bottles and solids, burping (cared for a 6-month-old that had bad reflux so he would be spitting-up constantly), providing interactive tummy time and getting them to sleep for naps/bed time including contact naps. I've also cared for toddlers ranging from 15-months old to 2-years-old.

A little bit about me

Hi my name is Syd! I currently live in Iowa and am preparing for my first year of college next year! In the meantime I would love spending time doing what I love most, hanging with kiddos. My mom was a live in nanny during summers in college and loved every minute of it. After spending two amazing summers with "my second family" also known as my nanny family I decided that it would be a great opportunity to branch out and meet new wonderful families. Can't wait to connect!

A little bit about me

From the moment I began working with children over five years ago, I knew this was my calling. I bring hands-on experience, academic dedication, and genuine passion that sets me apart as a caregiver families can truly trust.

My experience spans various settings: I have a year of teaching assistant experience in a kindergarten classroom, five years of babysitting experience, plus a year of dedicated nannying. These jobs have made me adaptable, observant, and attuned to each child's individual needs. I am currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Psychology and my long-term goal is to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. This means that you'll have someone who understands child development from both a practical and academic perspective.

I am deeply passionate about health, nutrition, and wellness, and in my free time you’ll find me reading, cooking, meditating, knitting, learning Italian, and traveling.

I would love to connect and learn more about your family's needs!

A little bit about me

Hi! I am a senior attending CSUN with the intent on graduating with my bachelor’s in psychology. I am super friendly, upbeat, and can keep a positive demeanor throughout anything! I currently work as a barista at La La Land Kind Cafe and hoping to add an additional form of work with child care. I used to be an after-school teacher for YMCA at a couple elementary schools, aiding my patience with the craziness toddlers and kids alike may present. I enjoy driving, journaling, staying active, and dogs are an absolute plus! I hope to meet you and your wonderful family soon!

Common Responsibilities of Housekeeper Nannies in Calabasas, CA

When evaluating if a housekeeping nanny is right for your family, it’s important to consider what makes housekeeping nannies distinct from nannies. Both a housekeeping nanny and a nanny are responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment. These responsibilities can include organizing activities, preparing meals, handling child-related errands as well as others. However, a housekeeping nanny usually takes on cleaning and maintenance for the entire home and family. In contrast, a nanny focuses exclusively on cleaning for the children such as the playroom, children's laundry, etc. A housekeeping nanny offers these services to the entire home and family, including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, and vacuuming.

A housekeeping nanny can be a full-time, part-time, or live-in position. It is essential to take these factors into account when determining how much you should pay a housekeeping nanny.

A contract provides an excellent opportunity to ensure that everyone is on the same page. By writing out a job offer for your housekeeping nanny position, you’ll create clear expectations for both your family and the housekeeping nanny..

In your housekeeping nanny job offer, you should communicate the responsibilities and compensation. This should be a detailed list focusing on all their responsibilities. We recommend running a background check on the candidates for your housekeeping nanny position at this point. You should provide a job offer that is dependent upon the results of the background check.

When you present your job offer create a safe place for your housekeeping nanny to ask any questions. Once the details are finalized, you can create a contract for your housekeeping nanny. Through the process of creating and discussing the job offer and contract, you’re building the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny where you both can ask questions and hold each other accountable.
