A little bit about me
Well let's see, I am a very good at multi-tasking, biggest group of children I've taken care of or supervised on my own is 25+. I'm a very hands on type of Nanny, meaning I will help with braiding hair, tie laces, cook and serve, clean, do laundry, change diapers, play board games, and especially help with homework projects or arts and crafts.
I can, will if asked to, and have taught ballet folklorico to 21 6 year old children, ballroom dancing, and tennis.
I worked as a yard supervisor at an elementary school for 10 years, and was working at the same school for the ASES after school program.
I believe in direct supervision at all times, and making sure that children do not fight or tease each other. I'm a registered mandated reporter, and I am CPR and first aid qualified for adults, youth, and infants. My TB test gets updated every 4 years.
I have a certificate for courses such as Autism Spectrum, Para-educator, and was Senior Leadership for the after school program, which consists of 100 children and 4 staff members.
Other than English, I can speak, read, and write in Spanish.
I'm available M-F from 8am- 6pm, and on Sat-Sun from 8am-10pm My availability will be coming to an end during the weekday when school starts up again. But my availability will remain the same during the weekends.
