"(Carmen still babysits during date nights. Not sure why there isn't a present option?) We were referred to Carmen by a mom in a fb group. We don't have many family members willing to babysit. Carmen came over to introduce herself and the kids couldn't wait to see her next. She is extremely punctuation and in one case came over due to a emergency. She is great with kids by playing outside, board games or doing an activity rather than putting them in front of a screen. She will request to do something with the kids rather than sit on the sidelines. Her personality is bubbly and she is very kind, but will also make sure the kids follow the rules. Eat dinner, teeth brushed and bathed if necessary. Our children enjoy spending time with her. Whenever we arrive back home the house is cleaned and the kids are sleeping without a fuss."

A little bit about me

Hello:) I’m a freshman at Saint Mary’s University, I graduate from Winona Senior High School, and have been a Winona resident for 8 years.
I have professional food service experience and am very used to cleaning, so I don’t mind preparing meals or doing housework at all. I have my own car and license, can commute, and I am CPR/First Aid certified.
As the oldest sibling in my family, I naturally stepped into a caregiving role from a young age. My parents instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility early on, and by the time I was 10, I was regularly caring for my younger siblings while they were at work. With my mother working 12-hour shifts as a registered nurse, I often took the lead in managing the household. These experiences taught me the patience, independence, and skills to care for children and create a safe environment.
