A little bit about me

I am a former school teacher and a published children's book author. I taught school for close to twenty years, and I have worked with every age group from infants to high schoolers.

I graduated cum laude from Clark University, receiving a BA with a double major in English and sociology. I included sociology with my major because diversity and inclusion is very important to me. I've always enjoyed learning about people from other walks of life. I believe that people from different backgrounds bring unique perspectives, and that by learning from one
another, we grow both intellectually and personally.

Although I no longer work in the public school system, I still enjoy working with children and watching them grow and learn. I would like to work as a nanny because it will enable me to continue to follow my passion for educating children, but outside of the usual classroom environment.
