I’m a nurturing and dependable caregiver with experience working with children from infancy through early teens, and I currently work as a full-time nanny. I have a background in psychology, which really shapes how I approach childcare. Relevant experience where I have also cared for children includes my current full-time nanny role, providing care for children ages 1 and 5, managing daily routines, meals, and developmental activities. I have also worked as an aftercare assistant at Mountain Charter School, engaging and supervising students from Kindergarten through fifth grade during after-school hours. Previously, I cared for children ages 9 to 13, providing meals, supervised activities, and educational games. Additionally, I have hands-on experience caring for my nieces and nephews from infancy through their current ages, supporting routines, developmental activities, and daily care for multiple children at once. I also love doing crafts of all kinds, including STEM projects, painting, and watercolors. Other activities I enjoy are reading together, cooking, helping with hair, and exploring fun hands-on projects that let kids be creative and engaged.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel valued and understood. Building trust and strong connections with both the children and their families is key, along with being reliable, patient, and attentive to their needs every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a 2-year-old I care for said my name for the first time. It was such a special moment and reminded me how meaningful it is to build trust and connection with the children I work with.
