More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been a choir teacher at summer camps, a camp counselor, and done work as a Behavior Technician, plus a decade of babysitting!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, making music, and playing outside! I love playing make believe games with kids! They get so creative!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think having a love for children is the biggest thing! Patience is the next! Children can have a lot of energy and a lot of feelings and having the skills to take a breath and navigate those feelings is incredibly important for growing kiddos!
My experience with special needs children...
Over 4 years one on one experience with children in the spectrum in a clinic that specializes in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One child I cared for had major zoomies! Instead of spending the day inside we ventured to the local park and checked out the museum! We learned about tornados, bears, and butterflies and by the time we got back home they were so tuckered out! A day well spent!

Part-Time Nanny Available in Lyndonville, VT: Lexa B.
Hey there! My name is Lexa, and I’d love the opportunity to connect with you and your kiddos! I’ve never been a nanny before, and I’m excited to start! I have 3 years of experience working in childcare, more recently early childhood education. I am a firm believer in structure and routine; my skills and experience working as a lead teacher have prepared me to create fun and engaging schedules/activities. My primary experience with kids are with babies (6 months-2 years), however I also have some experience with toddlers and pre-school age children. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel loved and encouraged to learn through play. I’m currently in college part time going for a BS in Psychology. I am willing to work full time or part time, however, I cannot work past 3:00 pm on Mondays & Tuesdays due to classes, and Wednesday’s I am not available to work due to classes. Looking forward to getting to know you and your family better :)
