Beyond meeting basic needs, it's about building strong relationships, understanding each child's unique personality, and providing consistent care that helps them grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Communication with both the children and their families is essential to ensure everyone feels confident and connected.

I have cared for children with diverse needs, including anxiety, ADHD, and autism, which has strengthened my ability to be patient, adaptable, and attentive to individual behaviors and routines. I have supported emotional regulation, created structured yet flexible daily schedules, and used positive reinforcement techniques to encourage growth and independence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would be when I took my nanny kids last summer to Valley Fair. They had never been, but expressed wanting to try it out. They were nervous at first, but after going on the first ride they told me that it was the best day they have ever had. I am so grateful that I was able to bring the kids and give them that experience.
