Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I use to go on mission trips every summer where I worked with a program called Youthworks. Through that we did kids camp on different native reservations where we worked with children. I also, have helped with vacation bible school plus I’m a server at a family restaurant so I’m use to being around kids every day there.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love coloring, making crafts and if it’s okay with the parents, exploring nature trails and going to parks. I’ve also watched pretty much every superhero show/movie because of my little brother. And pretty much every Disney movie because of my little sister.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to communicate with the parents is a huge deal with me. I wanna be able to help you as much as possible and be able to connect with your little ones. I love having easy, open communication so everyone is happy !
My experience with special needs children...
Mainly just helping when I was high school with the special education classrooms with a reading program. I also have special needs children in my family that I have babysat several times but I am always willing and eager to learn more!
