Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a Babysitter since 2021, being trusted as a regular babysitter for several people in mine and adjacent neighborhoods, as well as one of my own teachers from Goodwin Frazier Elementary, whom I still regularly sit her two amazing children whenever I visit town during the winter. I have experience with ages 10m- 10 years, and am comfortable watching up to 4 kids at a time and for longer periods of time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I LOVE the activities part of babysitting. I am very good at getting kids excited and engaged in activities. Some go-to’s of mine are painting and crafts, going outside, or even just playing games, whether board games or imaginary. Whatever we do, you can always guarantee I’m doing it with them and we’re having fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny or babysitter is of course the utmost safety of the children, but beyond that of the job description, people hire us when they need a break, so I take a lot of pride in making sure when you as the parent hire me, you get a break. I will not text you 30 times through the day, I will clean the rooms I have been allocated to, and I will provide a full and honest relay of day so that you are always up to date.
My experience with special needs children...
I unfortunately do not have much experience with special needs children, but I am just as ready and willing to care for your child as any other child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite favorite thing in the world is when I walk up to my regular’s door and knock, and I can hear both children inside scream “MISS KATY” and their little feet running to open the door for me makes me almost cry every time.
