My experience with special needs children...
I have 3 autistic siblings and my mom works with autistic children, I grew up going to work with her every summer and spending time with her and her clients. I have worked with many autistic students and they tend to get very attached to me as I love to play into their personalities and cater everything to each specific child. I have had students with ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy so I am prepared and experienced with anything!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have many students who tell me ALL day any chance they get, “Ms. Keely, you’re my favorite teacher. I love you so much” and in those moments I know what I do is worth it and that my sweet babies care for me equally as much as I do for them.
