I love taking the kids on walks and playing outside. When playing outside, I let their energy run out because kids have so much pent-up energy that playing outside helps releases it, which helps with sleep (nap time), and reduces stress.
I know how to sensory play with toddlers. I do make belief playing such as making forts, playing grocery store, and pretending to be a Disney character and acting out a scene from the movie.
I also teach basic baby sign language for babies/toddlers who aren’t able to communicate their needs yet.

The most important part about being a nanny...
is making sure the kids are safe. Becoming a safety net for them. And also teaching them how to be effective communicators and critical thinkers. Teaching them on how their emotions work and having patience throughout the process.
My experience with special needs children...
Are kids who have food allergies, kids who have a learning disability (ADHD), and kids who are epileptic (known to have seizures). These kids I have taken care of during my time as a nanny/babysitter.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love making the kids laugh and giggle. Baby giggles are precious. It’s the best part of my job.
