Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked one-on-one with students in schools. I was a math tutor in an elementary and middle school.
I've also worked with NSLC in the International Business and Finance program held at Columbia University. I was a mentor to 180+ students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing with them is a must. Giving my full attention to them can involve painting or outdoor activities. If needed, we can do a fun educational game.

Is making sure that the child is comfortable and feels safe.

My experience with special needs children...

In high school, I was a teacher's aid and I worked with a student that had down-syndrome and a kid that was hearing impaired. I knew part of the lesson the teacher was teaching and I usually helped them out when there wasn't a guide for them or when they needed an extra hand.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was volunteering at the day care, I loved when the kids where so honest about things they liked and didn't like. They felt confident and it made me love being there for them.
