While we initially thought it unnecessary to mention, it's essential to clarify that any damages occurring during your supervision will result in full responsibility, with costs deducted from your pay. Your commitment will entail full-time presence on the property every other week

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys play-based learning, early childhood development, and working in a calm, structured home. Dad leads homeschooling and therapy activities; the assistant provides hands-on support.
Responsibilities include: supporting homeschool activities, reading and play-based learning, assisting with feeding, hygiene and potty routines, organizing materials, and maintaining a tidy learning environment. Tasks include cleaning eating areas, dishes and laundry as needed, resetting materials for the next day, and helping track progress.
Qualifications: preschool and infant experience required; special needs experience preferred. Must be reliable, patient, and proactive.
Details: 15 hrs/week, $20–25/hr. Resume and references required.

Please note: On Fridays, we will be out of the home from approximately 3:00PM-8:00 PM, so our nanny must feel comfortable providing sole care during that time, which includes bedtime.

About Our Family
We are a warm, intentional household focused on creating a calm, joyful environment for our child. We both work remotely from separate home offices. We are available for questions, concerns, and check-ins during the day.
Our son is a bright, sweet, and social little boy who loves to laugh and play. We have one friendly, well-trained beagle named Benji, so comfort with dogs is a must.

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Creative planning of appropriate, screen-free activities
* Comfortable with baby-led weaning
Our priorities for care:
* Responsive attachment-focused caregiving
* Age-appreciate activities (tummy time, reading, singing, floor play, sensory play, going for walks, etc)
* Keep a consistent nap, diapering, and feeding schedule, following wake windows
* Giving bottles and serving solids
* Baby-related tasks- cleaning bottles/baby dishes, tidying up play areas, baby laundry
Qualifications
* Min. 3 years of infant experience
* Infant CPR/First Aid certified
* Bilingual English/Spanish-speaking
* Familiarity with Montessori
* Comfort with gentle parenting
* Fully vaccinated (TDAP, flu, and COVID)
* Non-smoker

2 hours in the AM and 4 hours in the evenings which consist of coming in the morning at 7AM and prepare and take them to school to be finished by 9AM, and later on doing the day pick them up from after school by 6PM to prepare diner, fed, bathe and be put to bed by 930pm. Hours will range week to week must be available upon family’s request.
Job duties include:
Light housekeeping and laundry
Picking up and dropping off kids from activities and school
Basic meal prep for kids/family
Comfortable watching children for extended weekends at home when parents travel.
Making up beds, tidying up the house.
Travel with family on domestic trips in the US for up to 5 weeks in the summer time and shorter trips during school. We pay all food and accommodations for travel.
Weekend work on 2 weekends a month
Job located in Rockville MD close to parks and family recreational activities.
