More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have also worked in church nurseries and assisted in teaching 3 year old Sunday School..
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy going to playgrounds, swimming with kids, going for walks, coloring, playing with play-doh and legos. I also like playing educational games to teach numbers, letters and colors. I enjoy reading to them and singing songs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is that you are a trusted and positive person in a child's life and that you teach them to grow up to be smart, kind and good people.
My experience with special needs children...
I have minimal experience with special needs children though I have cared for children on the spectrum with autism on occasion.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I had worked with a family for a year or so at this time and the mom said "Let's have a family hug" and their toddler, Emmie, told her they couldn't do that because I wasn't there. That warmed my heart.
I had taken care of a little boy for many months and we were at the park when he took his first steps. So great to see!
Many of the best moments are cuddling with kids or seeing them learn something I thought them.
