I’m a nanny because I love working with children, they are so refreshing. I would rather be doing something useful with my time than sitting behind a desk somewhere. And what is more meaningful than spending time caring for a child.

My past childcare experience I have been babysitting since I was in ninth grade for all ages of children. My family has thirty six cousins on one side so I was often in charge of babysitting for any number of children of all ages. I'm used to any numer of children and I enjoy children of all ages. I have also been a summer nanny for five years, mostly for young school-age children. I was also a teachers aid for a first grade class room for two years.

Additional comments My child care style is to have a balance between fun and structure throughout the day. Children need to have that balance. I do not sit the kids in front of the TV and call that child care. I plan activities, games, and fun outings.
