I had an in-home daycare for 4 years where I cared for up to 6 children, varying in age from 5 months to 5 years old. Prior to the pandemic, I was employed in two different Montessori schools over almost 10 years, where I was not only a toddler guide but lead for the infant and toddler departments. As a travel nanny, I have traveled with families for social events and family vacations.

Personally, LEGOS, science experiments, gardening and art are my favorite activities to plan with children. In most cases, I plan activities based off of the individual child’s interests.

One of my favorite nanny moments is seeing a young child as a young adult. I was in the grocery store and a young man I had cared for called my name. I immediately recognized him. We chatted for few minutes. He told me about school, job searches, and his son. He expressed how much I had meant to him and how I positively influenced his life. And how he was using the Montessori Method with his own child. It warmed my heart.
