A little bit about us

Hi! I’m a college professor and mom to a 10-year-old boy (Leo), currently preparing for a move to El Dorado Hills over the next 2 months. I’m looking for a reliable, proactive household assistant who can also provide light childcare support when needed.

The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2–4pm (with some flexibility). The role will start by helping us prepare for the move, and then continue in late May/June with organizing and settling into our new home in El Dorado Hills. There is strong potential for this to become a longer-term regular position after the transition, focusing on childcare and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities will be a mix of light childcare and household support—this may include helping with packing and organizing, sorting items (keep/donate/discard), labeling boxes, light tidying, occasional errands, and sometimes supervising or transporting my son. He is older and fairly independent, so this is not a full-time childcare role.

I’m looking for someone dependable, organized, and able to take initiative. Reliable transportation is important, as there may occasionally be a need to help at a nearby location. Most importantly, I value consistency and someone who can help bring structure and calm during a busy transition.
