A little bit about us

We are a warm, family-oriented household seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Family Assistant to support our growing family. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys children, takes pride in maintaining an organized home, and is comfortable providing support where needed throughout the day.

Schedule

* 2–3 weekdays per week
* Approximately 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* Long-term preferred

About Our Family
We have a toddler daughter and are expecting a baby boy. Mom is a stay-at-home parent and will be actively involved in daily childcare. This is a support role, not a sole-charge nanny position.

Primary Responsibilities

* Support one child at a time while Mom cares for the other child
* Engage children in age-appropriate play, reading, walks, and activities
* Assist with toddler meals and snacks
* Help maintain children’s routines and schedules
* Accompany Mom on outings as needed

Household Support

* Keep kitchen tidy throughout the day
* Load and unload dishwasher
* Wipe counters and maintain common areas
* Children’s laundry and light family laundry
* Fold and put away laundry
* Assist with simple meal preparation and light cooking
* Help keep toys, play areas, and children’s spaces organized
* General household tidying and resetting throughout the day

Ideal Candidate

* Experienced with both infants and toddlers
* Warm, patient, and engaging with children
* Highly organized and detail-oriented
* Proactive and able to identify ways to help without constant direction
* Comfortable working alongside an involved parent
* Reliable, trustworthy, and professional
* Comfortable in a household with changing priorities and needs

What Success Looks Like
At the end of the day, the children are well cared for, the kitchen is reset, laundry is under control, and the household feels calm, organized, and supported.

We are looking for someone who enjoys becoming part of a family’s rhythm and helping create a peaceful, well-run home.
