A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kaylee and I a sophomore at Kennesaw State studying elementary education. I have known from a young age that I want to work with kids, so I have gained close to 7 years of experience working in the nursery at church, babysitting, childcare for Sunday night bible study, volunteering at summer camps, and working at a daycare. I am certified in Infant, Pediatric, and Adult CPR and first aid. I provide specialized care for kiddo and my goal is to make each child in my care feel loved, seen, and cared for, and I strive to help them grow. I am comfortable with pets and have 2 years of dog sitting experience. I am comfortable prepping healthy meals, packing lunches, doing laundry, light housework, and any other tasks that will make life easier on parents. I strive to go above and beyond in all that I do to make sure parents have a confident, reliable person that they can entrust their kids to.

A little bit about me

Good day,
I am hoping you'd consider me for your family.

I am in my 40s. I am a parent of adult children myself. What this means for you is my party days are over and I don't have small children I need to run home for.

I am looking for one of two things, part time mornings to augment my current position, or a long term full-time Nanny position.

Part time: My hours of availability are before 12:30pm Monday -Thursday with availability for longer hours on Fridays.
Occasional weekend time can be negotiated.

Fulltime: I am looking for a consistent 45+ hour week with two days off, preferably the weekend. I don't mind having a small window of set time on the weekend (ie, if your child starts soccer knowing I will be with the family Saturdays 1-3 for soccer games.)

I have my own car, with insurance and a clean driver's record. I do not smoke. I rarely drink socially.

If you'd like to chat about your children and what your looking for, please reach out.

Have a wonderful day. :)

A little bit about me

If you are looking for someone who is calm, cool, and collected, you found her! I have worked with children pretty much my whole life. This includes nannying, tutoring, and teaching. My innate passion for kids makes it feel less like work and more like quality time with awesome little people. As a former preschool teacher, my age range of expertise is around 3 years old to 5 years old, though I am skilled with many age groups(infants included). Professionally, I have cared for children from 3 months all the way to 12 years old. I do pick ups and drop offs, light meal prep, homework help, etc. I love reading stories, playing outside, and simply bonding with the different kids I encounter.

Hello, my name is Ja’Lea DeBoo, and I'm 22 years old. I’m currently attending Kennesaw State University to earn my bachelor’s degree, and I already hold an associate degree in applied science. I have extensive experience working with children, including two years as a lead teacher for one-year-olds at The Goddard School, where I also previously served as an assistant teacher. How to Find a Babysitter in Marietta, GA

Nanny Lane is a child care website meant to help you find a babysitter in your area. Our child care services include background checks, PLUS, and payroll.

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Marietta, GA

Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.

From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Marietta can impact how much you pay your babysitter.

Marietta Babysitter Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a babysitter?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Georgia?
  • Do you have a Georgia driver’s license? Do you own a car?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!

And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
