A little bit about me
I love working with kids and seeing them grow. I love being a sitter because it lets the kids explore their creative side while still letting them be kids and giving them an environment to grow. Being a sitter has allowed me to build a relationship with kids where they feel safe and comfortable to be themselves.
One thing that sets me apart is that I strive to be as active as possible. Whether that is going to the park, doing a craft, or baking something fun. I want their time to be filled with different experiences.

A little bit about me
I have about 4 years of experience working with children in both classroom and babysitting settings. I enjoy building strong relationships with kids and helping them grow in confidence, independence, and emotional regulation.
My approach is calm, structured, and engaging. I like doing hands-on activities, games, and creative play, and I focus on keeping kids involved in a way that feels natural and not forced. I also like to follow the child’s lead and have fun with what they’re interested in, while still keeping things consistent and within routine.
I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and safety is always a priority. I’m happy to help with simple meals, light housekeeping, and sticking to whatever routines work best for your family.

A little bit about me
I suddenly and unexpectedly had to quit my nanny job of almost a year and am heartbroken, but this means I am available to start asap! However, I want to make sure it’s an excellent fit because a long term relationship is definitely valued on my half.
My ideal position would be between 30 and 40 hours a week.
I have been with two families over the past few years, one with two girls (6 and 9), and most recently one with two boys (8mo. and 2). In addition to nannying, I have hundreds of hours of babysitting and volunteer childcare under my belt. Teaching, guiding, and nurturing kids is one of my biggest passions in life.
My rates are between $18-30 an hour (paid legally only) depending on age(s), how many kiddos, and extra responsibilities 😊 I am comfortable with all ages, pets, and I have experience with housework.

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Roseville, MN
Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.
From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Roseville can impact how much you pay your babysitter.
Roseville Babysitter Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a babysitter?
- What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Minnesota?
- Do you have a Minnesota driver’s license? Do you own a car?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!
And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
