A little bit about me
My name is Taylor, I'm a college student majoring in education, also an early childhood educator I've taught at schools such as Kids R Kids and Primrose. I have worked with children ages ranging from 3 months to 4 years. CPR/First aid Certified. I have my own source of transportation, therefore I'll be able to assist with dropping and picking up from school and extracurricular activities. I'm very hands on and creative when teaching and working with children. Currently I am looking to become a full time Nanny to an amazing family. My goal is to always have a positive impact on a child life, and their future.

A little bit about me
I have other Photos of myself, that are Not online. I have no problem Mailing, or Faxing to you.
I also Raised my Granddaughter from Age 4-10 at the request of her Mom, when my Older son was pursuing his Education and Career.
I quit a Post-Retirement position at a Community college (pay was equal to my Career position in the government for 31yrs) to stay home with my Toddler Grandson, whose Mom was almost homeless.
I was raised within the Christian Church, I LOVE Music, Teaching, Children's Activities and Excursions - which I was Asst. Youth director, and Planned them. Including pageants and plays. In Texas I always take baby and her older 5yr old Sister to my Community Pool to wade. I provide Supervision and Floatations.
The Family loved my services so much, they started referring me to their Friends, (1) who happened to be a Family Psychologist. They still call, or Utilize my Services when they need a Mom/Dad night out!
My Brother brought his Daughter to me when she was 5, for the Summer, in Michigan. I Did her hair, Kept her clean and pretty, Read to her, Fed her Healthy meals...and enrolled her in the PreSchool a block away, during the Day/Part-Time, to learn and interact with other Children while I worked for the State as a Records Supervisor.
I am VERY Neat, clean, Always plan my days and Family Activities. I LOVE Children of All Ages. My Patience is long, and my will to enhance their lives, tireless...
I love dancing, reading, old Movies, and singing with the kids.
I can Attach my Business Degree and Professional Experience for the last 40 years...but, my great works are exemplified in the Elders' and childrens' lives that I have tried to enrich!

Understand Babysitter Responsibilities in Irving, TX
Before beginning the search for a babysitter, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a babysitter is the right choice for your child care needs. There are lots of benefits to hiring a babysitter such as getting the flexibility of having some more time for yourself or with your partner. When hiring a babysitter, first, you should explore the differences between a nanny and a babysitter. If you’re looking for occasional child care, babysitters are the right choice for you, but if you’re looking for more frequent care, a nanny may be better for your needs.
From there, you can think about what you expect your babysitter to handle so that you can create a profile for nannies to reach out to you. The boundaries for babysitters’ duties can vary from family to family. However, in general, a babysitter is responsible for making sure your kids’ needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example to housekeeping, laundry, or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your babysitter before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location in Irving can impact how much you pay your babysitter.
Irving Babysitter Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective babysitters, the next step is to conduct an interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some babysitter interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a babysitter?
- What sort of household tasks are you open and comfortable doing?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Texas?
- Do you have a Texas driver’s license? Do you own a car?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a babysitter that you’re considering hiring, make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your babysitter. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around babysitter responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming!
And of course, as you learn how to hire a babysitter, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
