A little bit about me
Prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked with G.E.A.R. U.P. through the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as an in-school Teaching Assistant for eighth grade English at Orchard Knob Middle School. I did this for three semesters, one of which was completely virtual. During the summer of 2019, I served as a virtual camp counselor and as a tutor for students attending the Chattanooga Girls Learning Academy summer school program.
Most recently, I have worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at Elevate Behavior Services. There, I was a therapist for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, working primarily on behavior and daily living skills.
Along with my professional experience with children, I have three nieces and two nephews ranging from less than one year to over ten years old. I have been involved in each of their lives and have had the privilege to watch them grow while also being a part of the experience!

A little bit about me
I have completed Newborn Care Specialist training, CACHE childcare/childhood development certifications and have extensive newborn/infant experience, including full time work with premature triplets. I have a fairly blended Waldorf & Montessori approach to childcare, and aim to foster a nurturing environment for children of all ages to learn & grow through play, with a heavy emphasis on time spent outdoors.
I am hoping to find a position with minimum of 35hrs per week. I do require legal pay (W2) & an industry standard contract to be signed- to benefit & protect both parties!
Glowing references available, along with a full CV/resume.
Send me a message with any questions! ✨ looking forward to connecting.
