A little bit about me

Hello and good day! I’m a dual-enrolled college student in New London who’s looking to give back to my community while pursuing my studies.

I am new to professional childcare: I have experience from helping raise my two younger siblings throughout our childhoods and have volunteered as a teacher assistant during my senior year of high school, rotating between three preschool classes. I’m First Aid/CPR certified, and a hard worker who’s happy to help around the house.

For the sake of transparency, I must inform you that I can't drive. Due to how my autism affects me, I find driving to be very overstimulating and overwhelming, so I do not have a license. I don't let that slow me down though! I walk, carpool with my partner, and use public transport/Uber, so while I may not be picking up the kids, I can still take care of them at home.

My rates are negotiable! Child care is expensive and times are tough, now more than ever. Raising kids takes a village: call for help, and I’m there!

A little bit about me

I’ve been an aunt since I was 9 years old, so caring for little ones has always been a part of my life. I currently work at a daycare during the day, where I’ve gained even more hands-on experience with children of all ages. Specifically aged 3 months - 6 years old. I also absolutely love being outdoors—whether it’s going for walks, playing games, or exploring nature, I believe fresh air and active play are so important for kids as well as adults. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children, helping them learn and have fun in a safe and caring environment, however I can be stern if needed.
I look forward to meeting you and your family!!

In your full-time nanny job offer, you should communicate the responsibilities and compensation. In writing out the responsibilities of your full-time nanny, you might also choose to add some responsibilities that are specific to your families’ needs like if you expect your full-time nanny to travel with you and the details around travelling with your live-in nanny. If you want to run a background check on the candidates for your full-time nanny position, you can give a job offer that is contingent upon the results of the background check.

When considering what it means for your full-time nanny when you take vacation, you should also consider how you want to handle their vacation time, and other aspects of their compensation. This includes a full-time nanny salary, over-time, benefits, and any expenses like food and gas.
